Hi all, Dave G, resident code monkey, back again. On the suggestion of Charlie, I have now added a link list of all the previous podcasts in the right hand column so you can access them at ease! Hope that helps!

  2. I found the abuddhistpodcast audio broadcasts on ZENcast (Creative Media) earlier this week. I’ve listened to 3 or so segments so far and I think I’m an addict. I have to admit that I don’t understand many of the references very well but the speakers have so much heart and are so earnest that I feel as if I’m falling into a well. Why is that I wonder? In any case, thank you for the podcasts. Due to your willingness to share your ideas, I plan to explore Buddhism beyond the tinkerings of one who doesn’t like to commit. I say I diss organized religion because of the lure of corruption that is born of too much power, I say I distrust ancient creeds such as the Rosicrucians because they appear to distort the truth for their own means, but beyond that I can’t decide who to trust. Will Buddhism lead me to the truth, will Taoism, will the Wickens? How do you know the true way for yourself? You will probably say you have to feel it in your heart. What if you have barred your heart for so long that it is a walled fortress? I listen to you speak and I my heart cries. Is that enough to say it speaks the truth even if my engineer’s brain says “well the Taoist say …” and your Catholic background says “you are saved because Christ died on the cross for you”. But is that what Christ really said? I thought he said we can all be like him which isn’t much different than saying that through prayer, meditation, and good deeds we can be like Buddha (isn’t it). I look forward to listening to more of your podcasts while praying for direction. — Thank you, p.s., you should patent your wife’s voice, it is truly lovely.
