  1. Hi there,

I want to say a thank you for Eileens lecture – it was very good. I loved the bit about travelling back on the train meeting the three different people asking questions – in a way I felt this was the lecture brought to life.

I also want to say thank you for finding Sandy Shaw’s Birthday present – this was the first thing I downloaded when I got home. What a great track – I sort of remember it as a kid (4 years old at the time) and now it’s back, updated for the 21st Century.

A final thank you for suggesting to read Stephen Batchelor’s Buddhism without Beliefs – it’s taken some time to get to it, but it’s a very good book, very insightful.

Hope your challenges are overcome or about to be overcome!

    Namaste,

    T

  2. I like the new logo–very clever! I agree that the font could be a teeny bit softer but it’s not a deal-breaker. Do you have anything to either treat or support a new addiction to Yorkshire Tea?Loved Eileen’s lecture and also eagerly awaiting the next new podcast. Hope you’re all listening to Joyrise, as well!~Donna

  3. Hello!

I’m an SGI member in the USA and I came across your podcast while doing research for a bit I had to on this particular Gosho for a Young Men’s Division Gosho study meeting. I must say that I’m ever so thankful for coming across it and hearing Eileen’s lecture. I was drawing blanks trying to figure out what to talk about and the lecture really opened up my eyes to “Earthly Desires are Enlightenment.” It was so mystical how many of the points she brought up in the lecture spoke to me about my practice and my life at that moment and gave me tremendous encouragement.

I also felt a certain undescribable joy when I came across this podcast. Even though we practice daily for the sake of others, sometimes we’re caught in this tunnel vision focused on our fellow members, friends in faith and the people that surround us. We’re aware of our mission for worldwide kosen rufu, but it’s mostly through articles and pictures in our publications. Coming across something like where I can hear and feel the spirit of members thousands of miles across the world…just made me feel really great inside. It’s the only way I can describe it, hehe. Thank you again for this great podcast!
