Thanks so much for your efforts.I love the music, the book excerpts, the back and forth banter and, of course, the rock solid Buddhist principles.BGandM is my favorite morning pre-gongyo activity, much better than the news! You have really filled a NICHE. Iam interested in Buhhist humor. I may have to do what you are doing to fullfill this part of my mission.(Smile)
I million thanks for introducing me to For the Sake of Peace and the Glorious Life Chorus.
We are a fledgling chorus in Nashville, TN. Our chorus petered out several years ago, due to…well, you know… So we’re up and running again but still quite small.The music is such an inspiration.

Others may have dreams locked up in their hearts that they’re afraid to admit even to themselves let alone chant for them because they feel they don’t deserve to be happy or because they are afraid of being disappointed should they not succeed in attaining their goal.

Nichiren Daishonin teaches us that the power of the Gohonzon has no limit. It is we who impose limits with our doubts and fears. How tragic it would be after encountering the Mystic Law we could not fully enjoy its benefits because we lack the courage to pray with all of our heart for what we truly wanted. Surely nothing would be more bitter than to have to look back over one’s life and feel ‘I never accomplished what I really wanted.’ Nichiren Daishonin out of his compassion teaches us how to live so that we will have no regrets. Since we have been fortunate enough to meet the Gohonzon why don’t we place our full trust in it, pray courageously for what we desire and fulfill all of our dreams in this lifetime.”

Just wanted to thank you guys for putting this together.
I started listening and had to order the book because I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next.

I’m currently in the process of recommending it to everyone, Buddhist or not.
