I don’t know if not managing to be punctual is not being buddhist…guess we have to be open minded to all opinions…Jason thanks for the courage, wisdom and compassion your are teaching us through the podcast technology. Bein able to donwload some material and listen to it while running to do other stuff in these hectic times is really a gift. Guess who wrote you the comment about not being punctual really desperately needs to listen to podcast. Looking foward to the next shows. Thanks also for sharing with us your chalenges and obstacles!!! I am sure your family will WIN!!!! Sending you guys Daimoku!!! So no doubt about it!!!! Keep chin up!

Wow, I can’t believe someone said it “wasn’t very Buddhist” for you to take a little longer between episodes.

Number one, you’ve already made it clear in your most recent shows that you all have some big challenges. That person should have assumed you were dealing with them and backed off a little.

Secondly, even if you never record another podcast, you’ve already made an ENORMOUS effort for kosen-rufu, and have led who-knows-how-many people to this amazing practice!

That said, of course I look forward to another show. But I’d feel loads better knowing that things are getting better financially for your family first.

Perhaps “visitor” would like to leave a little something in the tip jar. That would create a lot more value than inappropriate criticism.

Just a brief thank you. Although I am not a Buddhist and often unfamiliar with many of the jargon terms you use, I still relate to your sincerity and devotion. I hae also really enjoyed the serialized book, the Buddha, Geoff & Me. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Although we speak often, I felt I really have to add my twopenceworth. THANK YOU BOTH so very very much for your incredible commitment to Kosen Rufu that has been illustrated consistently with your podcasts, your SGI duties, and the support you give to me, and I’m am sure so many other people.

I don’t need to say “never be disheartened” do I? Because you have no need to be. You clearly have so many people sending you daimoku, and I also send you many daimoku every day, as I offer gratitude to the Lotus Sutra for having the great good fortune of having you guys in my life.

Of course, your podcasts never come soon enough – but we all have hectic lives, and yours are more hectic than most at this time, so I’m sure I am just echoing everyone’s thoughts by offering thanks for your hard work.

The person who criticized you can sod off. Your podcasts and now your production of that wonderful book have revolutionized my Buddhist practice. Thank you.

I have to admit, I was worried about you. I like getting your teaching podcasts and I’m addicted to The Buddha, Geoff and Me. The main character, Ed, is such a nerd — like us all. Yet he is the Buddha too. I was so hot to find out the ending, I went to amazon dot com and ordered the book from the UK. I won’t spill the ending but it’s WELL worth it.

Again, thanks. Good to hear from you again and find out you’re okay.

glad to hear from you! i was getting worried about you and your family and as i too am struggling with money, i was just chanting for your success (trying to send karmic currency).

don’t worry about the unbuddhist comment. as judgement by nature invites judgement, it was decidedly unbuddhist to judge. i’ll send some compassion for the person who said that as they obviously need support and structure in their life. what they probably meant to say was THANK YOU! I MISS YOU AND WANT TO KNOW HOW I CAN HELP GET YOU BACK ON TRACK!

this amazing project you and your family have taken on is wonderful and i could listen to all the previous podcasts for years and still learn from your insights. i guess i could also just ORDER THE BOOK if i needed to know the next chapter so badly. but i will wait. and when i get more flush, i will donate to your endeavor.

hallo.
i have always wanted to write you guys but somehow i never did. i really appreciate all your efforts and your insight. I used to clean office buildings for a while and your podcasts help me get through those late nights of vacuuming popcorn off of worn carpets.
your struggle is really inspiring. the podcast in which you said you chanted NAM MYOHO RENGE KYO to remove your fear of reading the mail literally sent chills through me. I am going to chant for your victory, your absolute victory.
Sometimes I have a hard time understanding the mentor- disciple relationship, but when i listen to you and the other leaders in my district, chapter and area, I am inspired by their genuine practice. I can see the inconspicous benefits they have accumulated in the way they speak and carry themselves. All these wonderful people, including you, have something in common- you are all disciples of daisalu ikeda. This makes me want to make him my mentor.
Thank you so much for ur wonderful podcast. I think you should know that without the voice of karen your podcast wouldnt be the same… it took my friends and me a while to figure out the accent, but we finally did- after you said it !

I wouldnt say its “unbuddhist” not to stick to the 2week schedule, bcus i dont think there is such a thing as “unbuddhist”. since buddhism includes dissappointment and exhiliration, i have to say ur not sticking to the schedule is quite buddhist! the only caveat is i crave my fornightly podcasts, but hey, i can always listen to the older stuff.

if i could i would write another comment with a thousand words of nothing but “thank you’s”. but i dont have that kinda time.

thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks for doing the buddha’s work.
