Dear Karen and Jason
I never thought I would write you, but I am finally completely compelled to let you know the immense benefit that your podcasts have had on my life. Im nervous to be writing this.
Ive been struggling very hard with health issues while trying to make it through a Masters in Fine art at the Glasgow School of Art. With each day that just seemed an uphill battle Id turn on one of your many podcasts to listen to again and again and help me get through to see the realization of my dreams. Not only did I graduate with distinction, but the film I worked so hard on while listening to you has been accepted to a number of film festivals and has given me the courage to keep going with my desire to touch people’s hearts regarding the value of our environment. Because if you were to listen to each clip before adding the sound it would just be snippets of your podcast playing in the background.

New Website LOoks Great !

Thank you Karen & Jason for your eloquent podcasts, I just wanted to comment on your new website ..
i think it looks *fab*u*lous*

Can i say it reminds me of the ikedaquotes website??, mainly because of the minimal neutral style and i like gradation of the trees from the top down , I think the beige is a great color to fade into, it’s very peaceful to the eye.
my honest & humble opinion!!

What a Good Show this month was with the Reluctant Buddhist talking about Karma …

Thank you so much for your inspiring Podcasts which I have just logged into and the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin. I bought a copy of William Wollards Reluctant Buddhist and its wonderful to hear him read chapters from the book. Thank you both for Podcasts I shall keep listening.

Hi Jason and Karen,

Love the new site and I am all caught up with the podcast and I enjoy the teaching very much and all the guest you have on especially William W. and moreover the SGI district leaders that where on , have more of the SGI members come on board and leaders to deliver the teachings along with yourself and karen.

As you know I have been chanting for 1 year now 9.12.08 and received my Gohonzon 5.3.09. My life condition has been approving ever since and will continue to do so. When I am in doubt at all or troubled I chant to re-boot the enlightment that helps me fight the good fight.

Again thank you for all your efforts for sprading ND teachings.

Congrats, Jason and Karen for the new look of the website. I call it an ‘overhaul’. Aside the new look, it certainly is much faster. The best part is that it has your beautiful picture which we can see to send you plenty of daimoku.

Thank you for continuing to feature the reading of William Wollard. While bopping around various podcasts, just trying to find something decent to listen to on my long subway ride to work each day, I starting listening to The Reluctant Buddhist and now I have downloaded ALL your episodes.

As with many others, things are a bit of a mess right now, and I am struggling to keep a positive attitude.

I’m just not sure about the chanting. Having grown up Catholic, I used to say the rosary every day. Three or four times a day during lent and the first Friday of every month…. and I was always assured it would help me…. but it never did really…

So you can see why I am suspicious that chanting is just another version of abracadabra!

That said, during this difficult challenging time, I am finding your podcasts the ONLY sound of sanity and very very helpful in my “keep-a-goin’” efforts.

I want to thank William Woollard for his enormous generosity in reading the chapters of his book on this podcast. I have read the book, and my husband – a non-Buddhist – is reading it as well, just to see what I´m up to.
I wrote about The Reluctant Buddhist in the Gakkai book group which is a sub-group on the http://www.sgibuddhism.org page. (A sort of MySpace for SGI members.) I hope it eventually gets translated into all written languages, gets a made into a documentary series, an animation film, and a Broadway musical. (Whatever works to spread the word!)
