iKissFm, Vittoria Conn and A Buddhist Podcast
July 11th, 2006
Busy couple of days in Belfast. Back tonight to some great emails from listeners and friends. It turns out that Paul Monaco from ikissfm heard Vittoria’s song, Mirror and got in touch with her. Vittoria tells Paul that the song is about the practice of Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism and Paul goes on a search to find out more and finds our Podcast! Paul tells Vittoria and we find out about Vittoria…its a mad thing this internet!!!
Missed Eileen McManus-Beckmann’s and Jackie Franks lecture last night in Crawley, Karen told me how great it was….ah well next time!
Rolling Stones tickets waiting for me when I got in!
HI Jason …
Thanks for all the good work so far and look forward to more.
Just one thing … site looks great in Firefox but completely unstyled in ie !!
Any chance of rectifying that ?
cheers

Hi Charlie,
thanks for your comment, great to hear from you. Thank you for telling me about the ie issue. I had no idea people were still using ie!!!
hmmm…you know…I am a mac user…
I’ll have a chat with Dave and figure out what we need to do about ie.
I am a recent switcher from Safari to Firefox. I love Firefox, great browser. They stopped developing ie for mac so long ago that the experience is awful and I hate using it. But if lots of people are then maybe we need to figure out a solution.
All joking aside, thanks for telling us and keep up your great site, love it!

Hi, Jason,
Yes, the Internet is mad indeed, weaving together our disparate paths until they sometimes cross, and occasionally, if we’re lucky, bringing us side by side for a little while.
There’s another interesting twist to this story.
Last week, Paul got a call, out of the blue, from a very old friend he hadn’t talked to in a long time. Paul told his friend he’s looking into Buddhism, to which his friend replied:
“You too? SGI, I hope!”
