Welcome to another episode of A Buddhist Podcast! On tonights show we have William Woollard reading the last part of Buddhism and the science of happiness, Appendix B. This is the show that is for every beginner you have ever wanted to have something to say, “Here, listen to this, this is the basics of Buddhism!”
By popular demand we have some more questions that we do our best to answer as well as the traditional shoutouts!

Wow! This show was a challenge to bring you! In the first part of the show which we recorded last week we have William Woollard giving a lecture on Nichiren Daishonin’s writing called, On the Offering of a Mud Pie. Its a terrific lecture and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed recording it!
A good friend of the show sent us an email and Karen and Jason talk about their reactions and thoughts to it. During the editing, Jason wished he had said more about gratitude in his answer, but then that will be coming up in a lecture soon! Let us know what you think of this section, if its popular we might do some more!

Thank you for taking the time to download and listen to the show. We are back with another episode of A Buddhist Podcast. On tonights show we read an editorial written by SGI President Ikeda encouraging young women and we play a recording in which William Woollard interviews Karen and Jason about the podcast.

As usual we have shout outs that criss cross the globe and some great music. On tonights show we play a song written by an SGI – UK member and sung by Olivia and Florence when they were 6 and 9 years old respectively. We play Cardboard Dreams by the very talented Ellie Jamison from Cambridge in the UK, listen to the lyrics, its really well written. Also we have two great tracks from the Podsafe Music Network, the amazing Molly Magdalain singing a track that definitely gets to Jason, its called Movin On. We finish with the amazing Dala Girls who sing Levi Blues that somehow always gets us smiling!

Jason is back from Japan and we are back with another show! Tonight we have a lecture for you on Nichiren Daishonin’s writing, “Letter to Jakunichi-Bo”. Based on President Ikeda’s lecture in SGI Newsletter 7676, this is the second time Jason has lectured on this writing, but it’s so different! Themes include:
